The Kedabura primary school selected by those 5 targeted schools principals as inclusive education center. This school is adjacent/near to all 5 targeted schools to share any relevant resources and experiences. The key criteria’s that to be inclusive education center are the number of Degree graduates in Chemistry, Biology, English, Math, and Physics teachers in the school and availability of teaching aid materials and laboratories. Accordingly, the Kedabura primary school has selected as inclusive education center for those 5 targeted Schools. In line with, ACISDA TARGET/ESIP project provided various capacity building trainings for school teachers and awareness raising workshops and trainings were conducted for PTSAs and girls’ club members, and clan & religious leaders on inclusive education focusing on the importance of children with disability (CWD) and girls’ education. In addition, we have received different educational materials from Afar Community initiative Sustainable Development Associations (ACISDA) which are printers, desks/tables, chairs, shelves and well equipped stationaries that have been fulfilled in the centers to serve as model to other schools. Before the TARGET/ESIP intervention, those targeted schools surrounding in this inclusive education center will go far distance to print students course-outlines and exam questionaries’ with high costs of private printer at Woderagie town. But now a day those 5 schools having an access to print their exam questioners and course-outlines, reference documents, and sharing their best lessons in this Kedabura inclusive education center.

Moreover, as a result of capacitating the school teachers through (ACISDA) TARGET/ESIP, now teachers developed desire for new knowledge through reading various professional materials, sharing experiences as subject teachers’ groups, and adapt new insights in their classrooms in this Kedabura inclusive education center.
