(1) Project Title: Unlocking the Afar women and girls critical challenge through improved their safety, security, and mental health services, and increasing the responsiveness capacity of multi-sectorial stakeholders to prevent SGBV in crisis areas.

- Project Impact: Enhanced response to mitigate GBV among law enforcement bodies, GBV victims’ services delivery institutions, and media interventions through strengthen well-organized structure of responsive systems. Promoted Human Right Based Approach (HRBA) through implementing community score-card and strengthened community based protection systems associated with creating access to livelihood services to ensure sustainable response for GBV cases within conflict affected areas

(2) Project Title: Unlocking the Afar Pastoral Girls Educational Barriers through Improving Social norms, Promoting Gender Inclusive Education, Upgrading Inadequate Learning Condition for Girls
- Donor: Malala Feminist Global Feminst Fund
- Project Location: Abala and Erebti Woreda of the Afar region, Ethiopia
- Budget: (105,000.00 USD)
- Project Duration: From August 12, 2024 to January 31, 2026
- Project Impact: The Afar pastoral community social norms improved towards the importance of girls and young mother education in its project intervention areas. The school facilities enhanced and girls’ sanitation improved in light of the existing poor menstrual health management. Gender inclusive education properly promoted, internalized, and functional in the selected school of Afar region. Strengthen Afar girl’s or young women education/right activists through improving their advocacy skills, digital media & storytelling, communication & public speech skill in project implementation areas

(3) Project Title: Provision of comprehensive quality services for survivors of SGBV and most at-risk pastoral women and girls through strengthen multi-sectorial stakeholders’ engagement and responsiveness in conflict-affected area of Afar region

- Project Location: Chifera Woreda/District of Afar Region, Ethiopia
- Budget: 150,000.00 USD = ETB 17,508,450.00
- Project Duration: 12 months from November 1, 2024, to October 30, 2025 On-going
- Project Impact: Improved provision of inclusive quality service and build the resilience of survivors of CRSV and most at-risk pastoral women in conflict -affected area of Chifera Woreda/District of Afar region through strengthen economic resilience and social reintegration of CRSV survivors and conflict-affected women and girls and enhanced provision of essential service for survivors of CRSV and GBV risk mitigation.
- Reached Beneficiaries: 4,200 most at risk and marginalized pastoral women and girls including survivors of (SGBV)
